U.P. Wild Life exhibit at The Bonifas Fine Art Center – Escanaba, MI
September 24 – November 5, 2020
Opening Reception: Thursday, Sept 24, 7-9 p.m.
Living in the Upper Peninsula provides lots of opportunity to run into wildlife. We have invited artists to share their talents of capturing these creatures that we share the land with and hope you will take a walk through our wild exhibit. We will have wood carvings, paintings, drawings, photographs, and other mediums on display. There will certainly be something for everyone to see.
These seven paintings by Gail Stanek will be on display at the UP Wildlife show.
New exhibit at The Savage Mane
A new exhibit was installed in the back entryway at Savage Mane. Jane Landwehr, chairperson, was assisted by Christine Burns and Darlene Strand. All pieces on exhibit are for sale, and prices are well marked. Artworks on display have been created by Jane, Christine, Darlene, and Terry O’Connor. Most pieces are framed and ready to hang. There are also books authored and illustrated by artist and writer Kathy Kuczek in the front seating area. Visit The Savage Mane Salon and Day Spa at 209 East Hughitt Street in Iron Mountain during their regular business hours—just remember to wear a mask.
